The Jibun Techo. You’ve heard me talk and post about it quite a bit throughout 2017. The great news is it’s been growing in popularity in the planner community and has become more accessible outside of Japan so there’s more information about it available. This week I’m sharing my top 10 tips for setting up my Jibun Techo for functional planning—it’s more flexible than you think! 🙂
Can you believe it’s October and 2018 is almost here? September was a blur for me due to fiscal-year-end work and a family emergency. With all that behind me now (all is well!), I’m back to pondering—along with the rest of my fellow plannernerds—the biggest decision of the year: what planner will I use for next year? Some folks only need one planner to take care of everything while others need multiple planners which further complicates the process. This week I’m sharing my year-end ‘planner musings’—aka my 3-step thought process—for deciding what planner to use each year.
It’s July and I’m back to share another update on my 2017 planner lineup! Like last year, I started 2017 with multiple planners—one for work, blog/YouTube content, personal/family, and on-the-go. By mid-year (sometimes sooner!), many plannernerds have either significantly tweaked or abandoned their planning systems to try something new while others continue to press on with the planner they started with. Regardless of your situation, mid-year is the perfect time to do a ‘reality check’ to see what’s working, what’s not working, and make any adjustments going forward. This week we’ll take a look at my primary planner which is my main ‘life’ planner for managing personal, family, home, finances, fitness, and projects. As the ‘central hub’ of my planning system, it’s critical that THIS particular planner works and works well so is my 2017 primary planner still effective? Why or why not?
Welcome back everyone! This week I’m sharing a functional plan with me using the ‘newest kid on the block’—the Jibun Techo Mini aka B6 ‘Slim’. If you’re a Japanese planner enthusiast (Hobonichi anyone?), you’re going to LOVE the Jibun Techo! Every January, I share all the planners I’ll be using for that year but this year I didn’t write a blogpost about my choice for a primary planner. That’s because I was struggling with what I had chosen and it wasn’t until I found the Jibun Techo that I finally found a planner that worked for me and my method of planning. So why is it so wonderful? Let me count the ways… 🙂
