Welcome back everyone! This week I’m sharing a functional plan with me using the ‘newest kid on the block’—the Jibun Techo Mini aka B6 ‘Slim’. If you’re a Japanese planner enthusiast (Hobonichi anyone?), you’re going to LOVE the Jibun Techo! Every January, I share all the planners I’ll be using for that year but this year I didn’t write a blogpost about my choice for a primary planner. That’s because I was struggling with what I had chosen and it wasn’t until I found the Jibun Techo that I finally found a planner that worked for me and my method of planning. So why is it so wonderful? Let me count the ways… 🙂

Welcome back, everyone, for another installment of Tech Gems where I share some of my favorite technology devices, gadgets, and apps. This week I’m sharing an affordable audio gadget that has become invaluable when filming YouTube videos. Who says you need expensive equipment to film videos?!
Welcome back for another installment of Write it Down or Power it Up where I review something we typically track to see if —in my opinion—it’s best suited to be managed on paper or using technology. This week’s topic is keeping track of passwords. In this digital age where almost every aspect of our lives involves technology, the number of passwords we need to keep track of in our personal, professional, and/or academic lives has greatly increased. So which is the best—and safest—way to keep track of your passwords?
In the planner community, there two types of plannernerds: those that use one planner, and those that use multiple planners. It’s a friendly debate that strives to keep us focused on productivity without getting distracted by all the wonderful things we love: organizer covers, notebooks, papers, and pens! 🙂 With all the beautifully crafted products on the market, some may think plannernerds use multiple planners simply to find an excuse to use everything in their growing collections. However, I’ve come to learn over the last few years that there are circumstances that might warrant using an additional planner—or two, or three!–to help me plan more effectively. So what are some functional uses for multiple planners?
Welcome back, dear reader, and please excuse the delay between posts. My regular ‘day job’ has been extremely busy these last few months leaving little time for myself, family and blogging. It’s not uncommon for life to sometimes get in the way and interfere with your best intentions to plan for the other areas of your life. Many productivity and goal planning tips are based on the premise of proactively planning to make sure you stay focused and take action on your highest priorities every day. Well, what if you have other mandatory responsibilities—like work—dominating your time and attention so you’re too busy to plan? What do you? What do you do?!
Welcome back for Part 3 of my 2017 planner setups blogpost series! In Part 1, I shared my Blog (Content) Planner setup and in Part 2, I shared my Work Bullet Journal setup including a ‘functional plan with me’. This week, I’m so excited to share with you my on-the-go planner setup which has quickly become my daily planner serving a dual purpose. Overall, this is an entirely new planner AND layout for me which has once again shown me that I shouldn’t be afraid to try something completely different and out of my comfort zone. So what am I currently obsessed with?
Welcome back for Part 2 of my 2017 Planners blogpost series. Last week I shared my blog (content) planner setup—read more about it here. This week I’ll be sharing my dedicated work bullet journal as well as a functional plan with me. And, yes, solely using a bullet journal is VERY out of planner-character for this ring-bound gal! There’s a very interesting story behind this 360 degree turn but I’ve gotta say, it’s worked out very well!
Happy New Years everyone! Plannernerds everywhere are in a state of euphoria now that they’re finally able to use their brand new 2017 planners. 🙂 Some chose one planner for 2017 while many others—like me—chose multiple planners, each dedicated to managing a different area of their life. At the end of 2016, I shared my choice for a blog/YouTube/social media (aka ‘content’) planner—read more about it here–so in Part 1 of this yearly blogpost series, I’m sharing a video that shows a walk-thru of my blog (content) planner setup as well as some of the supplies used.
